Christ Lodge: Dining Room Floor / Fridge and Freezer Floors

Steve and this summer's Ranch Hand Specialist, Chris Maddox. Steve and Chris completed the floor in two days, including one day of preparation and one day of painting.
A near complete dining room. The epoxy is a mild tan and helps to bring out the color of the wood on the wall and ceiling. It helps bring a new warmth to the room.
Steve Miller preparing the concrete floor by filling in the existing cracks. After the cracks were filled the floor received a coat of primer to help the epoxy adhere to the concrete.

Shower House

Volunteers from Front Range churches--Zion and King of Glory in Loveland, Our Saviors in Greeley, and Our Savior's and Trinity in Fort Collins--started the showerhouse remodel on May 3rd, during the 1st Summer Trip Prep Day. Projects that day include removing all toilets and replacing all the internal components, cleaning all surfaces with bleach and shop-vac's, removing caulk around the countertops and floor boards, and painting the partitions in the female side.
Steve Miller works on the partitions in male side of the showerhouse. The renovations of the showerhouse include a fresh coat of paint on the walls, partitions, ceiling, and floor, new sinks and fixtures, and the replacement of all the toilet valves. In the words of Chris Maddox, Ranch Hand Specialist, "It's a new place!" Pictures of the completed showerhouse will be coming soon.

A special thanks to all those folks who came up to camp for a day of team building, work projects, and looking forward. Thanks to Zion Lutheran, King of Glory, Our Savior's Greeley, Our Savior's Fort Collins, and Trinity, we were able to get quite a bit accomplished and have a good time while doing it!
