2008 Staff-In-Training Sessions

Your completion of the YouthGo! program makes you eligible to apply for the Staff-In-Training position at Sky Ranch.  As an SIT, you will spend 13 days shadowing a counselor, leading Bible study, working with Ranch Hands and assisting in community life. L Double R works with the State of Colorado and Larimer County to supervise of the children that take part in our programs.  Because S.I.T.s will be working with children at our facility, all S.I.T. participants must apply for and be accepted into the position.  If you are interested in the S.I.T. program, please fill out the SIT Application. We will then consider the application and determine the outcome.  Some additional restrictions also apply:     

• Staff-In-Training applicants must be 16 years of age by June 1st of the program year.   
• Participants will receive a $100 stipend for the two-week session.
• L Double R only accepts 3 S.I.T.s per session so some applicants may not be accepted.  (There are only 9 total positions available)
• Persons accepted for the program need to get to and from camp on their own accord (we cannot pick up at the airport).

 

Staff-In-Training Sessions begin on Sunday at 11 a.m. and end on Friday afternoon.  They are 13 days in length and include the weekend in between weeks.  The Sessions are limited to no more than 3 S.I.T.s each.
