...are designed as "packages" for youth, families and adults. We handle everything from providing lodging and meals to program and outdoor activities and worship. Memorial Day Work Weekend MemDayFam
Each year we invite families, alumni and individuals to join us at Sky Ranch for our Memorial Day Work Weekend. We use this time to prepare the camp for the summer, work on some special projects and gather in fellowship. There is no charge for the weekend - only a free will offering to help with food costs. You can bring your RV and campout or stay in one of our heated cabins or lodge rooms. We'll have lots of projects for all ages and skill levels mixed with great food, fellowship, campfires and worship. Make your plans early!

You can bring your camper trailer or reserve a cabin or a lodge room. Fly Fishing Retreats FLycast
It's become our specialty. We offer instruction, practice, tips and provide you with the chance to catch one of our trout in the Sleepy Owl Pond before trying your luck on a local river.

Our Weekend Fly Fishing Retreats are designed as an opportunity for all skill levels to practice at the Sleepy Owl Lake and on local waterways.

The Basic Beginners retreat is a one day class on the lake at Sleepy Owl that will focus on the equipment, casting methods, and other basics of the art of flyfishing.

The Weekend Fly Tying Retreat will focus your energy and eyesight on the methods and equipment involved in tying a fly to match the hatch.

Cost includes housing, food, instruction and gear rental and flies.

Coyote Howl Confirmation Retreat Howl
The L Double R offers two fall confirmation retreats for your middle or junior high youth to enjoy. We bring back many of our summer staff, offer games, Bible study, ropes course activities and mix in howls of laughter and good times during our Sky Ranch confirmation retreat. Each retreat is identical so pick the one that fits into your schedule.

Log Furniture Building Retreat
You've seen this beautiful furniture in those mountain shops but never thought you could afford it. That's why we've purchased the tools and trained leaders to teach you how to make a headboard, stool or small table - and take it home! With our help at Sky Ranch, it's easy! (Cost for retreat includes materials for your take home project).
