Bringing Campers to Sky Ranch and Sleepy Owl Ranch!

Lutheran Ranches of the Rockies reaches out to children, youth and families through the Camper Corral. You make a gift to the Camper Corral and we round up kids who need camp. It's that simple! Each year, hundreds to children and youth and in need of support to attend a camping program. Studies indicate that the benefits of camping are many. Camp builds a sense of personal achievement and enables youth to succeed. Camping teaches new skills and helps youth learn to cooperate and trust one another. Camping provides positive role models for youth.

L Double R provides amazing results from its camping programs. But we need your help to assure that our ranches are affordable to all who are in need of attending camp. Your gift to the Camper Corral will help us reach out to those who are in need of a quality camping program through Lutheran Ranches of the Rockies.

Who uses the Camper Corral?

• Children and youth from communities throughout the cities and towns served by L Double R.
• Children who come to Sky Ranch or Sleepy Owl Ranch who are identified by social service agencies or county youth programs.
• Youth and families from urban and rural settings who cannot afford the fees of a ranch program.
• Children, youth and families in temporary transition caused by loss of job or personal tragedy.
• Children or youth who must travel long distances to camp that adds to the cost of camping.
