Adam Schultz
Adam Schultz was born in Detroit, Michigan,
in 1966. At an early age, he realized that art was the best vehicle he had
for communicating his innermost thoughts and ideas. In 1987 Adam moved to
Loveland where he discovered his true calling - pursuing a career as a sculptor.
The idea of creating images in the
timeless medium of bronze was especially appealing to him. "Art not
only reflects the heart of the artist," Adam muses, "it also provides
us with a flavor of the times and society in which we live. In a very real
sense, I'm actually communicating with the people of the future." Sculptures
made of bronze and stone are sometimes the only surviving records from ancient
cultures that have long since disappeared. "I like to think that someday,
future archeologists may uncover my work and perhaps gain a clear idea about
the sort of society that we live in today."
Adam may be observed showing at certain
local competitions, and continues creating a wide variety of sculptures.
Ranging from the very small, to life-size commissions, proposals, and portraits,
Adam continues to expand his inventory of innovative and inspiring sculptures
in bronze. |
