Kenneth L O'Gorman
Kenneth O'Gorman was born in Charlottesville,
Virginia. As a child, he always enjoyed working with his hands.
After working in a few different trades,
he decided to become a welder. He worked in several different states as
a pipe fitter and roustabout, then found himself in Loveland welding for
a local foundry. His foundry experience included work as a mold maker, metal
chaser and welder. This is when he became very interested in sculpting.
So like many other artisans he began the journey toward becoming a full
time sculptor.
He was given the opportunity to study
under "Cowboy Artist" Fritz White. Kenneth believes this is one
of the greatest learning experiences of his life. He learned about becoming
a sculptor, but also learned lessons about life and what it takes to live
it.
Kenneth has completed several commissions
from Texas to California. Kenneth is represented by Deselms Fine Art, Cheyenne,
Wyoming and Windsor Galleries located throughout Florida. |
