Stephen McKee
Stephen is a native of Colorado, and
has lived in the state all his life. Stephen has been inspired by art ever
since his first years in school. Stephen loved to draw the most. Through
the school years Stephen took many forms of art in his curriculum. It was
just recently that Stephen was inspired by his older brother and family
to take up sculpting. Stephen took several classes at the Loveland Academy
of Fine Arts, under several well known artists. Stephen then was introduced
to sculptor Donald Thompson of Loveland, whom he took classes from to learn
more about the art of sculpting. Stephen now prefers to do all of his own
work on his pieces. Stephen is now creating his sculptures at Donald Thompson's
work shop and studio in Loveland. |
