Mark Lundeen
Mark Lundeen has the innate talent
of engaging the emotional aspects of his subjects and creating sculpture
with fluid lines, integrity and balance. As a sports enthusiast, his intimate
knowledge of dynamic motion is readily apparent in such works as "The
Niblic" and "The Catch?". A natural storyteller, he stages
his artwork around the stories his characters portray. Mark's style is highly
detailed realism, and he always remembers to include the soul essence of
the persons he portrays in his sculptures.
His accomplishments include the placement
of monumental and life-size sculpture in many cities in the United States
and several foreign countries. Exhibitions in the United States have won
him numerous awards, including the Phillip Isenberg Award from the Allied
Artists of America in New York.
Mark is a member of the National Sculpture
Society and Allied Artists of America. He lives and works in Loveland Colorado.
