Chuck Hunter
Sensitively capturing that "Moment in Time" while reflecting the individual character of each animal is the goal for each of my works. Growing up on a Missouri dairy farm working with animals, I observed the behaviors and characteristics of many animals first hand.
Moving to Loveland in 1976 and being exposed to some of the best artists in the nation, their bronze sculpture created a desire to capture moments in time in bronze. Studying under some of these artists at the Loveland Academy of Fine Arts has helped to hone my skills and techniques.
When working on a new piece I can easily lose track of time. ItŐs especially gratifying when someone tells me how much they enjoy these works that I love to sculpt.
My works are in public and private collections throughout the nation. The current focus of my work is both bronze and pewter wildlife.
