Bets Lundeen Bets Holland Lundeen is a native of Norman, Oklahoma. As a young woman she was fortunate to have traveled throughout Europe with the American Institute for Foreign Studies and gained firsthand knowledge of the history of the Renaissance. Her extensive experiences in theater and dance, as well as her fascination with children, have been the inspiration for much of her subject matter. When asked about her art she says that, through personal tragedy, she has learned that every day is a new opportunity to make the most of our talents. Bets believes that the ability to visually interpret the human spirit is a gift and carries with it much responsibility. She works with precision to invest her figurative work with the essence of the aesthetic. Additional information listed below...
